Wilson nCode N1
Tennis Racket $94.99
Strung and ready to play
Reduced from over $200
The nCode N1 is Wilson's big head, very powerful offering in the nCode
line. It is for players with slow swings or players with half
swings. It is great for mid-court and net play and is very popular
with doubles players. It is very
stable and the dual tapered beam frame absorbs shock well.
Some say that racquets of this type are suited to beginners. We
strongly disagree. While this racquet will give great power to a slow
swinging beginner, he will then never develop a big, fast, aggressive swing. For beginners, we recommend our $59 Prince Scream.
The N1 is suited to players who have already developed and want a
powerful racquet.
The stability of the nCode construction is ideally suited to this
type of racquet. NCode
construction at the molecular level puts silicone crystals in between
the carbon fibers. This strengthens and reinforces the head so it
gives more accurate shots and has a bigger sweet spot. nCode also
is a much longer lasting frame. See nCode tech info.
This racquet comes factory prestrung with Wilson Synthetic gut. It
play nicely with this string. However, we have found that big
head, power racquets, play significantly better with a soft multi-filament
string like Babolat Xcel, Wilson NXT Max, or Wilson NXT Tour.
These are not cheap strings, but they will make the N1 play
better. You can select these strings on the "Buy now" page.
