The Head Extreme Team is an excellent racquet for club players (3.5+) who need
a little extra power and want great spin control. Note in the picture that the racquet
head is more circular and has greater width, this lets the ball slide over
the strings for greater spin.
We think this is a terrific racquet and compares well to any frame for
players of this level. This is a great all court racquet, with a
bit of power. It does well at the baseline, midcourt, or
net. It provides nice spin control. And it is excellent with
half-swing passing shots. The MicroGel gives it a solid,
clean-hitting feel.
The MicroGel material is infused through the hoop. This
distributes shock around the frame, eliminating vibration and making
this a very comfortable racquet to play with.
This particular racquet is used but you need a magnifying glass to see
the scratches around the tip. The plastic bumper guard is
scuffed. The grip has been replaced with a black grip (not white
as in picture). It is restrung with Head FXP, a premium string recommended for this
racquet.
