The
Head Crossbow 2 follows in the tradition of Head "2" series
racquets in being an excellent all-court racquet for the solid
intermediate player. It has aggressive spin, good control, and a little extra
power. Large sweetspot and comfortable feel.
HEAD's innovative new Crossbow technology maximizes energy for optimum power.
On ball impact, the bridge flexes independently from the racquet frame,
storing energy much like a bow being loaded. This new found energy is
unleashed in every shot, providing incredible power. With 10 strings
going through the bridge, Crossbow enlarges the sweetspot because it has
10 strings going through the dynamic bridge. It has a bigger
sweetspot than a conventional fixed bridge racquet. Playing consistent powerful tennis has never been easier.
This
particular racquet is used and almost perfect condition. You need
a magnifying gloss to see the slight brush like scratches on the
tip. The plastic bumper guard is slightly scratched. The
original white grip was dirty and I replaced it with a new black Wilson
MicroDry grip. The racquet was recently restrung with Head FXP
Power string, this is a premium string that Head recommends for this
racquet. This racquet was used for less than a month and still has
11 months of the one year warranty left.
