The Babolat Pure Drive Cortex is the latest version of the best selling
Pure Drive. It is intended for the 3.5 to 5.0 player. It is
a little stiffer and more powerful than a full players frame although
pros like Roddick, Moya, and Clijsters use the Pure Drive. (Roddick has switched
to the Pure Drive Roddick.)
The new Cortex System filters out those vibrations that interfere with feel, thus enhancing the
feel for the ball. See Babolat

The Pure Drive comes in three different models, the Standard, the
one-half inch longer Plus, and the bigger head Oversize. We find
that all three racquets have the same feel and are very similar.
As compared to the Standard, the Plus has exactly the same feel, but is
1/2 longer for extra reach. The Plus has the same 100 head as the
Standard.
The Oversize is also 1/2 inch longer and it has a larger 110 sq
inch head. It has a slightly larger
sweet spot (due to the larger head), a tad more power, and a slightly more flexible
frame. The combined package has the same feel as the Standard but
with slightly more power.
